From video shoot to posted reel

For a resort, video comes first. Guests want to see the place before they trust it with a few days of their time, so the shoot shapes everything that follows.

    Video for the two properties has been shot. Everything else in this project is built from that footage, so it comes first.

    The footage becomes short reels. They will be posted on the properties’ social media. None are live yet, so we are not claiming any reach.

Why Resorts Are Different

Two resorts, one town, two different guests

A salon or a clinic can get by with a good post and a clear price. A resort is asking someone to book a holiday. That decision is slower, it is shared with a family, and it leans on how the place looks and feels.

That is why this project starts with video of the properties themselves rather than with a posting calendar. Reels made from real footage show a guest what a stay would be like in a way a list of facilities cannot.

Sterling Kodai Valley and Sterling Kodai Lake are two separate properties, and each will be handled as its own. We will update this page as the work goes live.

About this project

Is this a finished case study?+
No. It is an active project. The video shoots for Sterling Kodai Valley and Sterling Kodai Lake are done and the reels are still to be posted. There are no results to report yet, and we have not made any up.
Why publish before there are results?+
Because the client relationship and the work done so far are real, and we would rather show that honestly than wait and dress it up later. When the reels are live and measurable, this page will be updated with real figures.
How is social media for a resort different from social media for other businesses?+
A guest booking a resort is choosing a place to spend several days, often weeks ahead. They want to see the property before they trust it. That makes good video of the rooms, grounds and surroundings more important than it is for a business people visit on impulse.
What does resort social media marketing usually include?+
It usually means planning content, shooting photos and video, editing reels, and posting them regularly. The exact scope is different for every property, so we agree it with each client at the start.
